THE SOUND OF PLASTIC - TRAILS OF PLASTIC

While I was going through my box of found plastic objects, I noticed that the sound they make as I move them about reminds me of the sound of waves. I continued exploring the sounds I could create using just the material itself and tried to produce sounds that represent the four natural elements. Water, earth, air and fire.

Both my digital and physical pieces reflect the way plastic has infiltrated our daily lives and is now part of nature. For many generations, humans have left trails of plastic behind, which has outlived its creators and users, only to become a burden to our planet and its current habitants including of course the flora and fauna.
