Eastergrass

Humans often tend to imitate natural elements using synthetic materials.
A very common example of such behaviour is the use of plastic plants as decorative items.
It seems to be considered a cheaper, longer lasting 'solution'.
Using artificial replicas is also strongly associated with traditions (christmas trees, decorative eggs, etc.)

I am referring to this matter by creating a neckpiece and brooch resembling grass.
Placing them onto a shirt that is not being worn emphasizes the unnatural origin of the objects contrasting
with the natural elements in the background.

Materials: Decorative Easter grass, knitting yarn, kitchen foil.
