Roots of Character

When I asked my project partner Yujie why she decided to study this course she said that it was because she really likes the jewellery which elves on the LOTR movies wear. I started looking at those and decided to make a statement ear piece that would take inspiration from nature and more specifically roots.
During my conversation with my partner she described how she feels this deeper connection to the world which makes her sense things more intensely. I immediately made this connection that plants can sense the world much more intensely than other living organisms on earth since their roots grow towards the centre of the earth and so they can feel everything happening on the planet.
She also mentioned that she really enjoys being outside in nature surrounded by trees and that the inspiration for her work mainly comes from organic things.
